Transportation & Parking Location

Monroe Regional Airport is committed to providing the best possible services and facilities for passengers. This commitment is offered in partnership with a number of other service providers including commercial airlines, handling agents, TSA and other government agencies.

As part of our effort to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming airport environment, the Monroe Regional Airport continuously monitors customer feedback and satisfaction through market research and direct customer reports.

We also strive to achieve the best customer service by providing our customers with a variety of resources. The Airport Customer Service Desk is an example of the airport’s commitment to customer service. They are available to assist passengers with questions or requests they may have.

Hours of Operation

Monroe Regional Airport is open from 3:00 A.M. until midnight.

For security reasons the Terminal is “locked down” between 12:00 A.M. to 3:00 A.M. and therefore passengers, and other persons, are not permitted to enter the Terminal during this time, nor sleep in the Terminal overnight.

Lost & Found

The lost and found area is located in front of the rental car customer service area near baggage claim. Items may be retrieved during the hours of 8 A.M. – 10 P.M. Please call (318) 329.2471 for more information. If any items have been left on the plane, please contact the airline directly.

ATM

An Origin Bank ATM is located in the main terminal left of our Customer Service Desk.

Porter

The porter (skycap) stands by the curb in front of airline entrances and helps passengers with loading, unloading, and carting their baggage. Service is available from 8AM – 3PM curbside and throughout the terminal.

Accessibility

Monroe Regional Airport strives to ensure its facilities are available to all passengers, including those that are visually or hearing impaired or otherwise disabled.

Paging

Airline passengers can be paged by contacting the airlines directly. All other page requests can be administered through the information desk or by contacting the Airport Administration at (318) 329.2460.

Accessible Parking

Handicap Parking is available in both Short-Term and Long-Term parking lot. Customers must display the handicap placard while parked. There are a total of 19 parking spots available.

Restrooms

All restrooms located throughout the airport have wheelchair accessible facilities. In addition, there is a Unisex/Family Restroom, equipped for the disable, located across from the rental car customer service area.

All public facilities are fully accessible by wheelchairs. Our airline partners also offer wheelchair services upon request. To ensure availability and timely service, it’s recommended that reservations be made in advance. However, wheelchair assistance may be requested at airline ticket counters.

In the event of a crisis, it is essential that Monroe Regional Airport member airlines be prepared for any eventualities. Thus crisis management and emergency plans play a pivotal role in the operations of an airline.

Monroe Regional Airport actively works with industry stakeholders in ensuring that member airlines and their stakeholders are prepared in an event of a crisis, through forums and conferences. Monroe Regional Airport also promotes best practices amongst its member airlines, and encourages airlines to bilaterally agree on providing mutual assistance in an event of an aircraft emergency.
